Ishq ka hota alag he anjaam hai
Deta hai dard ye dil jo mohabbat ke naam hai
Safar lamba aur dagar nhi aasaan hai
Mohabbat nhi sanam ye imtihaan hai...

Badli ke piche jab chup jata chaand hai
Andheri galiyon me hota dil ka katal-e-aam hai
Aaj saanskaro ke naam par he pyaar kurbaan hai
Mohabbat nhi sanam ye imtihaan hai...

Aayega ek din mausam mere bhi pyaar ka
Hogi dhara pe roshni meri amber mere chaand ka
Milne ko he ab dil unse bekarar hai
Mohabbat nhi sanam ye imtihaan hai...
